Here at Jah Jyot Punjabi, we value each of our customers equally. As such, we offer numerous delicious, exciting vegetarian and vegan street food options alongside those that contain meat. We serve our customers face-to-face, so we regularly engage in conversations about our ingredients, the process of making our dishes and the ever-growing numbers of people making the move away from meat. With such direct access to this vital feedback, we continually evolve our vegan and vegetarian street food range in an attempt to leave behind the old image of boring meat-free alternatives.
Whether in our bases of Leeds and Horsham or any other location nationwide, we provide the following vegetarian and vegan street food options:

From our own experience in the industry, we recognise that our clientele in Leeds, Horsham and the surrounding areas reflect the growing trend across the country. There are approximately three million vegans in the UK with a further one-third of the population actively looking to reduce their meat and dairy intake. Furthermore, the Veganuary campaign of 2018 saw more than 165,000 people adopt a vegan lifestyle for a month.
As a customer-focused company, we see it as our duty to create superior dishes full of flavour for each of our customers. This includes producing vegetarian and vegan street food packed with as much deliciousness as any of our other options.
Unlike some food establishments, we don’t simply want to offer token vegetarian and vegan dishes that lack imagination or consideration. As much as it shouldn’t need to be said, we still feel the need to say it: vegetarians and vegans like food as much as people who eat meat.
As such, every option on our menu, be it meat, vegan or vegetarian street food, has been carefully planned and tested to ensure the best possible results for our customers at events in Leeds, Horsham and across the country.
With almost half of all vegans in the UK falling into the 15 to 34 age bracket, we feel confident that an increasing number of people will continue to make this shift in the future. Here at Jah Jyot, we look forward to making an even wider range of flavoursome vegetarian and vegan street food to satisfy this growing demand.
